Mr Tony Latimer (r.), President, International Coach Federation, Singapore & Mr Klaus Nienhaus (c. r.), Executive Committee, Public Relations Chair, ICF Singapore spoke of developing a coaching culture in organizations and how it can benefit  them in the long run.



Breakfast Briefing on Developing a Coaching Culture in your Organization (Leadership in Transition)

The SGC Breakfast Briefing was held on Wednesday, 4 February 2009 with Mr Tony Latimer, President, International Coach Federation, Singapore and Mr Klaus Nienhaus, Executive Committee, Public Relations Chair, ICF Singapore as VIP Speakers. The speakers gave a detailed presentation on coaching culture in organizations: coaching skills, internal vs. external coaches as well as the ways to develop a coaching culture. They also shared on coaching skills such as good communication skills, asking appropriate questions, to develop the ability to listen and giving feedback as well as acknowledging people. Benefits of coaching culture included increasing employees’ engagement, enhancing their performance, as well as rapid organizational change to the organization. A lively discussion between speakers and participants occurred during the question and answer session.
